Nokia to Launch new tablet with 8.3″ IPS display and nano SIM
It seemed like forever before the first Nokia tablet, the Lumia 2520 came into existence, but now when the tablet has been launched and available now, things have geared up and Nokia is looking to fill the gaps of its tablet line up.
According to the import data available on Zauba.com, a device of 8.3″ FullHD IPS touchscreen is shipping from China to India. The tablet carries the codename RX-115, as its big brother, the Lumia 2520 was codenamed RX-113. The purpose of the device is mentioned as “Inter-company use for testing and evaluation”, just like the dual-SIM device from Nokia which also showed up in the shipment data from the same source.
The device also features a nanoSIM slot, according to the import data and the mentioned price is INR 9,423.
The Nokia tablet will be launched in the segment already stuffed with low cost android tablets and the iPad mini. It would be interesting to see how things turn up.
